WHO AM I?

My name is Tuuli Viri. I am the entrepreneur in VIRITTÄMÖ. VIRITTÄMÖ is my one woman's enterprise offering osteopathic treatment and exercise services here in Rovaniemi. 

My osteopathic services are open for people of all ages; from newborns to senior citizens.

As a mother, osteopath and nurse I have always been very interested in taking care of women and children; in every stage of life cycle. 

ABOUT MY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

I have graduated as an osteopath from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki. To become a Bachelor of Osteopathy here in Finland takes 4 years (240 study points) of full time studies before final thesis, exam and graduation. 

I graduated as a registered nurse in 1996 and have about 17 years of experience: in paediatrics (wards, home hospital, emergency room) obstetric ward, out-patient hospital,  and operation room.

I am also a breasfeeding councelor and have studied WHO's studies in breastfeeding and early interaction.

As all osteopaths, I have a holistic approach to all my clients. I'm always interested in listening to my clients, because that is the key to understand their individual needs and situation. All people are influenced by their mind, body, spirit and environment. Gathering this  understanding is also essential for an individual, effective and safe osteopathic treatment.
